Draw Near is for the daughter, mother, sister and friend who longs to take time away to hear from God. By exploring creativity in worship we open our hearts to hear from God in a whole new way. With large group gatherings and intimate breakouts our time is designed to give you a unique worship experience. We will explore things like creative prayer, watercolor, mixed media art, writing, worship through hospitality, even experiencing God in nature. Our prayer is that you will leave our time together having found a new place of worship with a fresh heart for God.

WHO

Draw Near is designed for women ages 16 and up.  

WHAT

Draw Near is a creative worship retreat that has been crafted with you in mind.  We want you to come into an environment that is warm and relaxing.  It's a place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, draw near to God, and make some new friends.

WHEN

In 2018 we are thrilled to have two different Draw Near Retreat weekends happening! This SPRING, on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. 

Thursday-Saturday | May 10-12th, 2018

WHERE

Our SPRING location for Draw Near is on the gorgeous campus of Sandy Cove Ministries. Sandy Cove is a retreat center rich in ministry history that sits at the top of the Chesapeake Bay, in the picturesque town of North East, Maryland. Complete with a vast view of the water and that fresh salty air, this venue will bring a unique feel from our sister weekend to follow in the fall.

One of our favorite parts of the Draw Near Retreat is the unique blend of teaching, worship and the arts. During our time together each of you will have the opportunity to choose from and participate in various art workshops. Some of which are watercolor, hand lettering, jewelry making, creative prayer, and mixed media art. Stay tuned as we'll post our final workshop options in the near future.

The beautiful Chesapeake Lodge is where we’ll make our home for the weekend. The focal point of this grand retreat facility are the views of the Chesapeake Bay that span the entire scape of the horizon. Most notably inside the lodge are the large picture windows capturing the views on your walk to the Water's Edge dining room. Put it on your list to take a few quiet moments in the adirondack  chairs overlooking the water during your time with us!  

**Each Hotel Style room features three Beds and on suite bathrooms**

The hotel rooms for the weekend will be triple occupancy unless otherwise requested. Each attendee will have her own bed. Our desire is that these suites will be a meaningful place of community and prayer. We will prayerfully place each of you in a room with others. If you are coming on the retreat with a friend, contact us if you desire to be in the same room. 

All bedding, linens and towels are provided.

*Remember your registration fee includes all food, lodging and supplies for the entire weekend.

This is perfect for the church who is passionate about community and helping people find a place to belong and serve using their gifts. As you invest financially at this level you are helping us keep this weekend affordable for our women, but also you are helping us provide a place to resource our local attendees who may not be connected into a church family.
