• Truthcards

Truthcards originated from the principle in 2 Timothy 3:15, “From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” Timothy’s mother and grandmother taught him the Holy Scriptures when he was young and he became a third-generation Christ follower. As parents, we have the opportunity and responsibility to sow the Word of God into our children. One way we can do our part in leading our children to the Lord is by establishing a firm foundation of Scripture knowledge in their lives. From infancy, we can infuse the practice of speaking God’s word as part of everyday conversations. From toddlerhood, our children can actually start to memorize the scriptures. As they grow and go out into this world, the Truth of God will be written on their hearts and they will have the firm foundation needed to help them stand strong in their faith. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) From infancy to adulthood, the Word of God is beneficial in our lives. Truthcards are designed to help build a foundation of faith from the start.

  • The Creators

“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” – Genesis 1:1

The very first verse of the Bible says infinitely much – God is the Creator of the entire universe. Truthcards were made possible only because of our Creator, amazing Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. All creation was formed by Him and all creativity comes from Him. These cards were solely a vision from Him. The verses are from His mouth (2 Timothy 2:16). May He alone receive all the glory, honor and praise!

If you would have asked me 9 months ago if my 2 year-old was capable of memorizing scripture I would have told you he was too young. After using Truthcards for last several months he is now armed with over 20 verses. Occasionally he'll even try to use them to get an early release from a time-out! These cards have helped turn meal time into a fun discipleship time with my kids!

Back in 2009, the Lord revealed to me the importance of sharing His Word. Since then, I have been consistently looking for resources to make it fun, exciting, and easily accessible. My first search for scripture memory cards led to frustration as there were not many available, and they were very expensive. But recently our family has gotten a hold of TRUTHCARDS. They are amazing - God's Word and nothing but His Word in a fun, exciting, and easily accessible way. The first card I introduced to my 7 year old to memorize was 1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." He often struggles with nightmares, and we wanted to give him his "sword" (Ephesians 6:17) and something true to think on (Philippians 4:8). I taped the Truthcard to the bottom of his top bunk - it would be the last thing he saw at night and the first in the morning. Well, by the next day, he already had it memorized. I can't wait to fill up that area with God's Word that it may fill my son's mind and heart!
