Max Patch Study
The first time I saw Max Patch I was absolutely enamored with the vast 360 degree views. It is still my favorite view in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our favorite thing is to pack a lunch and a kite and spend the day at the top of this clearing where the wind is always ready to keep a kite in the air.
I love the thick brush strokes that a painting study offers. Often studies are painted in one short studio setting, capturing the main idea of a landscape or subject. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed painting it.
The “Max Patch” study is part of the Mountains to Sea collection is an original 6×8 acrylic painting study on a canvas panel.
This 6×8 comes freshly varnished and can be easily placed in a frame making it a perfectly gift-able piece.
